Die Gewinner der iHeartRadio Music Awards 2016 stehen fest! Am Sonntag wurden in Kalifornien die begehrten Preise vergeben. Es war der große Abend von Justin Bieber und Taylor Swift, die fast alles wegfegten, was sich ihnen in den Weg stellte.
Justin holte sich die Awards in den Kategorien Male Artist of the Year, Dance Song of the Year und Best Fan Army. Taylor wurde für die beste Tour, das Album des Jahres und als beste weibliche Künstlerin ausgezeichnet. Auch der Award für den Most Meme-able Moment ging an sie. Keine schlechte Ausbeute bei insgesamt 8 Nominierungen.
Und der Rest? Drakes „Hotline Bling“ ist der Hip-Hop Song des Jahres, Selena Gomez das größte Multitalent („Triple Threat“).
Superstar Adele konnte nicht nach Inglewood in Kalifornien kommen, um sich ihren Preis für den Song des Jahres („Hello“) abzuholen. Sie gab am Sonntag ihr letztes von vier Konzerten im englischen Birmingham. On Stage sagte sie, „Vielen Dank an alle, die für mich abgestimmt haben“.
