George Clooney (50) war einer der großen Gewinner des Abends, bei den gestrigen Critics‘ Choice Awards 2012, die im Hollywood Palladium vergeben wurden.
Der Hollywoodstar wurde als bester Schauspieler für seine Rolle im Comedy-Drama „The Descendants“ ausgezeichnet. Damit ist wohl eines DER erfolgreichsten Jahre seiner Schauspielerlaufbahn eingeläutet.
Er ist nämlich auch noch für die Golden Globes (15. Januar) und die SAG Awards (29. Januar) nominiert. Auch die Chancen für die Oscars steigen damit von Minute zu Minute für den guten George.
Viola Davis (46) hat den Award als beste Schauspielerin in „The Help“ gewonnen. Clooney scherzte auf der Bühne, „Es scheint, als hat der ‚The Help‘ Tisch den meisten Spaß“. Der Film hat insgesamt drei Preise abgeräumt, während „The Artist“ als bester Film insgesamt vier Critics‘ Choice Awards gewann.
Für „Harry Potter (Deathly Hallows II)“ gab es Awards für das beste Make-Up und den Sound. Hollywoods Bad Boy Sean Penn (51) wurde mit dem Joel Siegel Award für seine humanitäte Arbeit ausgezeichnet. Er engagiert sich sehr im bettelarmen Haiti und wurde auch von dort zugeschaltet, als George Clooney ihm den Award überreichte.
Die Gewinner der Critics‘ Choice Awards werden jedes Jahr aus mehr als 250 Kritikern aus Funk, Fernsehen und Internet ausgewählt. Im letzten Jahr zählten Colin Firth und Natalie Portman zu den strahlenden Gewinnern. Hier ist die komplette Liste 2012…
