Die Emmy Nominierungen 2017 stehen fest

Hoffnungen auf den begehrtesten Fernsehpreis der Welt

Heute wurden die Nominierungen für die Primetime Emmys 2017 bekanntgeben. Anna Chlumsky und Shemar Moore verlasen im Wolf Theatre in Los Angeles die Nominierten.

Beste Chancen haben die Show „Saturday Night Live“ sowie die HBO-Serie „Westworld“ von Evan Rachel Wood mit jeweils 22 Nominierungen.

Unter den nominierten Schauspielern befinden sich klangvolle Namen wie Viola Davis („How to Get Away with Murder“) und Kevin Spacey („House of Cards“). Milo Ventimiglia erhielt seine erste Emmy-Nominierung überhaupt als Hauptdarsteller in „This Is Us“. Sein größter Konkurrent um den begehrten Emmy ist wohl sein Co-Star Sterling K. Brown, der in derselben Kategorie an den Start geht.

Die „Big Bang Theory“ und „Modern Family“ erhielten jeweils 3 Nominierungen im Bereich Comedy. Bei den Dramaserien sind die Topfavoriten „Westworld“ (22), „Stranger Things“ (18), „The Crown“ (13) und „This Is Us“ (11).

Die nunmehr 69. Emmy Verleihung findet am 17. September im Microsoft Theater statt und wird von US-Komiker Stephen Colbert gehostet.
