Die Jungs von Maroon 5 haben ihren neuen Song „Maps“ veröffentlicht! Dieser ist die erste Singleauskopplung aus ihrem fünften Studioalbum, das den Titel „V“ trägt.
In dem Song heißt es, „I was there for you /In your darkest times / I was there for you / In your darkest nights / But I wonder where were you / When I was at my worst / Down on my knees / And you said you had my back / So I wonder where were you / All the roads you took came back to me / So I’m following the map that leads to you / The map that leads to you / Ain’t nothing I can do / The map that leads to you / Following, following, following to you / The map that leads to you / Ain’t nothing I can do / The map that leads to you / Following, following, following“.
Bis die komplette Platte im Handel erhältlich ist, müssen sich die Fans der Band leider noch bis zum 2. September gedulden. Diesmal bekommen Adam Levine, Matt Flynn, Mickey Madden und James Valentine erneut Unterstützung von Keyboarder Jesse Carmichael, der 2012 eine Pause einlegte und deswegen nicht auf dem vorhergehenden Album „Overexposed“ zu hören war.
Um ihr neues Werk zu promoten, gehen Maroon 5 Ende des Jahres auf Welttournee. In welchen Städten sie auftreten werden, ist bisher noch nicht bekannt.
