Und sie haben es wieder getan…wie schon bei den Golden Globes und den SAG Awards, haben Colin Forth und Natalie Portman am Abend auch bei den BAFTA’s 2011 in London abgeräumt!

Colin wurde als bester Schauspieler für seine Rolle in „The King’s Speech“ geehrt, während Natalie Portman natürlich zur besten Darstellerin für ihre Psychorolle in „Black Swan“ ausgezeichnet wurde.

„The King’s Speech“ wurde außerdem zum besten Film gekürt sowie zum herausragendsten britischen Film. Für den besten Animationsfilm dürfen sich die Macher von „Toy Story 3“ auf die Schulter klopfen. Auch „Inception“ mit Leonardo DiCaprio hat in einigen weniger besonderen Kategorien gewonnen.

Mit ihren Preisen bei den BAFTA Awards (British Academy Of Film And Television Arts) sind Colin Firth und Natalie Portman nun endgültig zu den Topfavoriten für die Oscar’s am 27. Februar aufgestiegen.
