Letzte Nacht fanden in Los Angeles die SAG Awards 2011 statt, der Filmpreis der US-amerikanischen Schauspielergewerkschaft „Screen Actors Guild“.
Und es schickt sich an, dass Colin Firth (50) der neue Christoph Waltz wird. Erneut wurde er für seine Rolle in „The King’s Speech“ als Bester Schauspieler ausgezeichnet!
Nach den Golden Globes der nächste wichtige Preis für Colin Firth. Die SAG Awards sind nicht umsonst der drittwichtigste Award nach den Globes und den Oscars, für die der Brite gerade auch eine Nominierung einheimsen konnte. Absoluter Topfavorit!
Auch Natalie Portman wurde in selbiger Kategorie als weibliches Gegenstück zu Colin für ihre Psychorolle in „Black Swan“ ausgezeichnet. Auch sie ist heiß gehandelt für die Oscars 2011!
Rekordhalterin bei der Screen Actors Guild Verleihung ist übrigens Julianna Margulies („Emergency Room“) geblieben. Sie räumte ihren siebten (oder achten?) Preis bei der Veranstaltung ab, für „The Good Wife“.
