Seit der letzten Single von Pink ist über ein Jahr vergangen, nun meldet sie sich mit einem brandneuen Song zurück. Das Lyric Video zu „What About Us“ feierte heute seine Premiere!
Darin singt sie: „We are searchlights, we can see in the dark. We are rockets, pointed up at the stars. We are billions of beautiful hearts.“
„What about us? What about all the times you said you had the answers; what about all the broken happy ever afters; what about all the plans that ended in disasters?“
Und: „We are problems, that want to be solved. We are children, that need to be loved…“
Bei „What About Us“ handelt es sich um die erste Singleauskopplung aus dem siebten Studioalbum von Pink, das „Beautiful Trauma“ heißt und am 13. Oktober 2017 veröffentlicht wird.
Das bislang letzte Album „The Truth About Love“ hat schon fünf Jahre auf dem Buckel und verkaufte sich weltweit mehr als 5 Millionen Mal. Es ist also allerhöchste Eisenbahn dass Pink nachlegt!
Auf Instagram schrieb sie heute: „Ich könnte nicht aufgeregter sein. Meine Single ‚What About Us‘ kommt heute raus und mein neues Album ‚Beautiful Trauma am 13. Oktober. Ich bin wahnsinnig stolz auf dieses Album. Es ist eine ganze Weile vergangen und ich bin dankbar für all die Jahre, die wir hatten. Ich freue mich auf das nächste Kapitel mit euch.“
