Hollywoodstar Robert Downey Jr. sowie die Serien „The Big Bang Theory“ und „Greys Anatomy“ zählten zu den großen Gewinnern der People’s Choice Awards 2015, die am Mittwoch in Los Angeles vergeben wurde.
Robert Downey Jr. konnte gleich zwei Preise mit nach Hause nehmen – einen in der Kategorie „Favorite Movie Actor“ und einen als „Favorite Dramatic Movie Actor“. Besonders freuen wird ihn, dass die PCA nicht von irgendeiner Jury gewählt werden, sondern von den Fans, die fleißig für ihn voteten.
Die Comedyserie „The Big Bang Theory“ wurde zur Lieblings-TV-Show gewählt und zur besten Comedy im Fernsehen. Hauptdarstellerin Kaley Cuoco Sweeting wurde mit dem „Favorite Comedic Actress Award“ ausgezeichnet. „Greys Anatomy“ erhielt ebenfalls zwei Auszeichnungen.
Als „Favorite Movie Actress“ wurde „Hunger Games“-Star Jennifer Lawrence auserkoren. Sie räumte auch als beste Action-Schauspielerin ab. In der Sparte Musik konnten sich unter anderem Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift und Maroon 5 über Preise freuen.
