Kaum feierte die letzte Award Season mit den Oscars ihren Höhepunkt, steht schon das nächste Großevent an – die MTV Movie Awards 2016. Heute wurden die Nominierungen bekanntgegeben!
Beste Chancen auf die goldene Popcorntüte hat J.J. Abrams Sci-Fi-Streifen „Star Wars: The Force Awakens“ mit 11 Nominierungen. Als Filme des Jahres sind auch der Superheldenkracher „Avengers: Age of Ultron“, das Boxerdrama „Creed“, die schräge Komödie „Deadpool“ und die Rapper-Bio „Straight Outta Compton“ im Rennen.
Als beste Schauspieler sind unter anderem der diesjährige Oscarpreisträger Leonardo DiCaprio („The Revenant“), Jennifer Lawrence („Joy“), Will Smith („Concussion“) und Anna Kendrick („Pitch Perfect 2“) vertreten.
In der Newcomer-Kategorie finden sich die Oscargewinnerin Brie Larson („Room“), „Star Wars“-Star John Boyega und „Fifty Shades of Grey“-Sexbombe Dakota Johnson wieder. „The Hunger Games: Mockingjay 2“ könnte für den besten Cast ausgezeichnet werden.
Traditionell sehr interessant ist der Preis für den besten Filmkuss, den sich in diesem Jahr unter anderem Dakota Johnson und Jamie Dornan („Fifty Shades“) sowie Margot Robbie und Will Smith („Focus“) angeln können.
Die MTV Movie Awards 2016 finden am 10. April auf dem Gelände der Warner Bros. Studios in Hollywood statt. Die Jubiläumsshow – 25 Jahre Movie Awards – wird von Dwayne Johnson und Kevin Hart moderiert. Hier sind noch mal alle Nominierten zum Nachlesen!
