Die Nominierungen für die Golden Globes sind da | HFPA

Wer einen Globe in den Händen hält, hat auch beste Chancen auf einen Oscar. Heute wurden die Nominierungen für die Golden Globes 2015 bekanntgegeben, die als einer der Indikatoren für die Academy Awards gelten.

Beste Hoffnungen können sich demnach (wie zu erwarten war) Stars wie Julianne Moore („Still Alice“), Bond-Bösewicht Christoph Waltz („Big Eyes“), Reese Witherspoon („Wild“), Jennifer Aniston („Cake“), Jake Gyllenhaal („Nightcrawler“) und viele mehr machen.

Newcomerin Lorde wurde für ihren Mockingjay-Song „Yellow Flicker Beat“ für die Globes nominiert.

Die Nominierten in den insgesamt 25 Kategorien wurden am Donnerstagnachmittag von den Hollywoodstars Jeremy Piven, Paula Patton, Kate Beckinsale und Peter Krause verlesen.

Die 72. Golden Globes werden am 11. Januar 2015 im Beverly Hilton Hotel vergeben. Als Moderatoren wurden die Komikerinnen Amy Poehler und Tina Fey verpflichtet, die bereits die beiden letzten Verleihungen hosteten.

Alle Gewinner werden von den Mitgliedern der Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) gekürt. Neben den Oscars, den SAG Awards, den Independent Spirit Awards, den BAFTAs und den Critic’s Choice Awards gehörten die Globes zur sogenannten Award Season. Jedes Jahr findet in diesem Zeitraum nahezu wöchentlich eine andere Preisverleihung statt.
