Am Sonntagabend wurden in der Royal Albert Hall in London die BAFTA Film Awards 2018 verliehen. Das sind die Gewinner!

„Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri“ geht bei der kommenden Oscar Verleihung als einer der Topfavoriten ins Rennen. Bei den BAFTAs hagelte es gestern schon Preise als bester Film (u.a. gegen „Dunkirk“ und „The Shape of Water“), für Frances McDormand als beste Schauspielerin, für Sam Rockwell als Nebendarsteller und für das beste Drehbuch.

Gary Oldman wurde als bester Hauptdarsteller für seine Rolle in „Darkest Hour“ ausgezeichnet.

Der BAFTA in der weiblichen Nebenrolle ging an Allison Janney, die an der Seite von Margot Robbie in „I, Tonya“ zu sehen ist.

Vergeben werden die Preise seit 1949 von der British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
